The structure of the CCF
Cadence Cares Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit corporation that is organized and operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
The economic divide in youth sports is becoming an alarming issue, with families spending a staggering $40 billion annually on their children's sports activities. But while some children from wealthy households get the opportunity to participate in costly travel leagues and club programs that provide high-level competition and college scholarships, kids from impoverished and marginalized families are left behind. The rising participation costs in youth sports are causing an economic gulf that has diminished opportunities for low-income children, with only 24% of them having a chance to play sports. A deeply concerning situation that is hindering the dreams and aspirations of thousands of children across the Chicagoland area and millions across the US. It's time to take action to bridge this economic divide and provide every child, regardless of their financial background, with access to the same opportunities to excel in youth sports.
